An der der Universit\u00e4t Bern habe ich Medizin studiert. Meine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr die Herzmedizin entdeckte ich w\u00e4hrend meiner MD-PhD Arbeit auf der Kardiologie am Inselspital Bern bei der ich mich mit der quantitativen Messung der Herzmuskeldurchblutung befasst habe und gleichzeitig Physik studiert habe. Meine kardiologische Ausbildung absolvierte ich dann am Inselspital Bern mit invasiver Ausbildung am St Thomas\u2019 Hospital in London. Im Anschluss daran verblieb ich noch ein Jahr in London und trat eine Stelle als invasiver Oberarzt am Heart Hospital London an. Danach folgte ich dem Ruf in die Schweiz und trat eine Stelle als Leitender Arzt am Spitalzentrum Biel an wo ich 6 Jahre t\u00e4tig war und schliesslich noch 2 Jahre am Kantonsspital Graub\u00fcnden.
